Radoslav Z. Pavlović

Hello everyone visiting my page, welcome! ❤️🤗

I was born in 1994 in Kragujevac, Serbia, where my passion for scientific research began early. By middle school, I was already engaged in research, and in high school, I actively pursued scientific work through the University of Kragujevac, publishing my first studies under the mentorship of Dr. Biljana Smit and Prof. Aleksandar Teodorović.

I earned my undergraduate degree in chemistry at the University of Belgrade under the guidance of Prof. Dragana R. Milić. I then completed my Ph.D. in Chemistry at Ohio State University, specializing in supramolecular chemistry and nanotechnology under Prof. Jovica D. Badjić, followed by a brief postdoctoral fellowship (July 2022–April 2024). I continued my research as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Prof. Samuel I. Stupp’s group at Northwestern University, working through the Simpson Querrey Institute for BioNanotechnology. My work focused on using multiphase and multinuclear NMR to extract structural and dynamic information from supramolecular nanomaterials at atomic, molecular, and supramolecular levels—advancing the understanding of supramolecular motion in systems with potential applications in regenerative medicine. Since April 2024, I have been a Research Associate in the Stupp lab, furthering my research in a highly collaborative setting through the Center for Regenerative Nanomedicine.

Curiosity and a passion for discovery have led me to explore science across multiple institutions, including the University of Kragujevac, Petnica Science Center, the University of Belgrade, Ohio State University, and Northwestern University. I thrive in collaborative environments, enjoy working in teams, and am always eager to learn. Sharing knowledge and engaging with others is central to my scientific approach.

Mentorship is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my work. I am committed to supporting graduate and undergraduate students, serving as both a resource and an advocate. I have mentored students at Northwestern University, Ohio State University, and the University of Belgrade, many of whom have gone on to secure prestigious research positions. I find great joy in fostering the excitement of discovery and helping new researchers integrate into their roles with confidence.

Beyond fundamental research, I am deeply interested in translating scientific discoveries into real-world applications. While I am still exploring this area, I am eager to contribute to bridging the gap between research and innovation. Through my work, I aim to push scientific boundaries while inspiring and supporting the next generation of scientists.

Warmest regards,

Rade
